Legal Secretary

SULLIVAN, McGIBBONS, CRICKARD & ASSOCIATES LLP is a law firm located in Carmel Valley, San Diego area, representing clients in estate planning, probate, trust administration, tax-exempt organizations, probate litigation, gift and estate tax issues. We are seeking a legal secretary with a minimum of 3 years’ experience. Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 3 years legal secretary experience with trust and estate planning experience preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites and Adobe
  • Working knowledge of legal documents
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work product
  • Superb organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Excellent follow through and time management

Duties will include:

  • Provide support to 1-2 attorneys
  • Draft, format, proofread, and /or edit documents and related correspondence
  • Communications with clients
  • Scheduling and calendaring
  • Internal file management
  • Other related duties as required and/or assigned

Office Hours & Work Schedule:

  • Office Hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm
  • Work Schedule: Monday thru Thursday: in-office / Friday: remote optional

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: starting at $25.00 per hour
